Bag of Tricks v. 2.0 WIP

I said I'd make a better version and I did

After seeing the lovely picture ~Kvitter did of Julian I just had to redraw him. She did an excellent job on his outfit. It definitely helps me out about a million fold. Also, I decided to ink this one in actual pen ink because I'm not proficient enough at digital likes yet. But anyways, I'll still be coloring this digitally because I want to That and my colored pencils don't come in all the right colors.

I've decided that Julian's profession is that of a street performer. Juggling, card tricks, a joke, and the occasional dance with a passerby. I'm quite enjoying fleshing the fellow out. He's rather adorable. He's also not really that short (though he is 1.7 meters tall, a little over 5'7" which is less than average feligami height). He's just crouching. He hunches like that when he's excited.

~loochee and myself have agreed that Tricks and Julian wouldn't mind bumping into each other on the street.

Julian: Ok, now pick a card. Any card!
Tricks: You've got to be kidding
Julian: Just pick a damn card.
Tricks: *sighs* Fine *picks a card*
Julian: Now study it. Take a good long look at your card and then put put back in the deck.
Tricks: *does so*
Julian: Ok, now, prepare to be amazed! *waves hand over deck* And you know I don't have anything up my sleeves since well, I don't have any. *laughs*
Tricks: Just show me the card.
Julian: Hmph...*picks up card from the top of the deck* Is THIS your card?
Tricks: *grins* Nope.
Julian: Huh? *looks at the card* Dammit!
Tricks: I'll admit, I'm quite impressed.
Julian: Shut up. *pouts*

Well, I never said he was terribly good at card tricks. XD What he is good at...dancing. He's good at dancing. Also, his lucky ace of spades is behind his other ear. That's why you can't see it. (It's also because I forgot but I like that other reason better)
